GIS offers law enforcement agencies (LEAs) a formidable tool to understand how crimes vary with space (distance from law enforcement agencies) and the time of day such crimes are committed. It offers LEAs the ability to explore factors that enhance or diminish crimes for better resource allocation towards fighting such crimes. This study shows the relationship between crime activity and distance from police stations.
